Hard Reset for HP iPAQ hx2400, rx3100, rx3700 Devices
NOTE: These steps should only be done if you are willing to lose all data from your device. A hard reset will erase all application information from your device.
In order to hard reset the newer HP iPAQ devices (hx2400, hx2700, rx3100, and rx3700 series):
1. Hold down the media and task launcher buttons.
2. Tap the reset button found on the bottom of the device.
3. Continue holding the media and task buttons until the screen begins to fade.
4. Release the buttons.
5. The device should begin to restore itself back to the original factory settings.
