Lexi-Calc Manual Installation for Pocket PC

Installing Lexi-Calc Manually with the CAB files:

Windows XP:

1. Click on each link above and save the files to your computers desktop.
2. Connect your Pocket PC to the computer.
3. Click on the ActiveSync Manager icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of your computer screen (near the time display) and choose to Open Microsoft ActiveSync.
4. Within the ActiveSync window, click on "Explore" and double-click on the "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" icon.
5. Locate the three files that you have just saved to your desktop and DRAG each one into the "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" folder within your ActiveSync window. This will place the necessary Lexi-Calc files into your Pocket PC.
6. Once all three files have been dragged to your Pocket PC please disconnect your device from the computer.
7. On your Pocket PC:
   1. Tap on START > PROGRAMS > FILE EXPLORER.
   2. Tap on the down-pointing arrow and choose MY DEVICE.
   3. Tap on each of the 3 new files that have been added to the program files folder - this will launch each of these files and install Lexi-Calc. Please tap on the files in the order below:
      1. netcf.…
      2. Lexi-Calc-PPC
      3. Lexi-Calc-Cal…

The files will install as you tap on them. Once all the files are installed please perform a “soft reset”. To perform a soft-reset, please press your stylus into the reset hole located on the back, side, or bottom of your Pocket PC device. The new Lexi-Calc program should now be installed on your Pocket PC.

Windows 7/Vista:

1. Click on each link above and save the files to your computers desktop.
2. Connect your Pocket PC to the computer.
3. Click on the Windows Mobile Device Center icon located in the bottom right-hand corner of your computer screen (near the time display) and choose to Open Windows Mobile Device Center.
4. Within the Windows Mobile Device Center window, click on "File Management" and click on "Browse the contents of your device".
5. Locate the three files that you have just saved to your desktop and DRAG each one into the "My Windows Mobile-Based Device" folder within your Windows Mobile Device Center window. This will place the necessary Lexi-Calc files into your Pocket PC.
6. Once all three files have been dragged to your Pocket PC please disconnect your device from the computer.
7. On your Pocket PC:
   1. Tap on START > PROGRAMS > FILE EXPLORER.
   2. Tap on the down-pointing arrow and choose MY DEVICE.
   3. Tap on each of the 3 new files that have been added to the program files folder - this will launch each of these files and install Lexi-Calc. Please tap on the files in the order below:

      2. Lexi-Calc-PPC
      3. Lexi-Calc-Cal…
