Views of Lexi-Drugs
Lexi-Drugs consists of 4 views. We recommend only running one view of this program at a time. The reasoning behind this recommendation is that all content within the views 'Essential' and 'Comprehensive' are already included within the 'Comprehensive plus Specialty Fields' and 'Comprehensive plus International Brand Names' views.
Essential View - basic drug information
Comprehensive View - includes all of essential plus adds Geriatric and Annesthesiology fields
Comprehensive plus Specialty View - includes all of comprehensive plus adds Cardiology, Oncology, Mental Health and Advanced Practive Nursing fields.
International View - includes all of comprehensive plus specialty plus adds an International Name Brand Index.
If you have enough memory on your handheld device for Comprehensive plus Specialty Fields or Comprehensive plus International Brand Names, then you should decide between these two views. Comprehensive plus Specialty Fields is North American compliant on all drugs approved for use in North America. Comprehensive plus International Brand Names is currently the International Brands for all of the drugs currently approved for use in North America. However, Lexi-Comp is currently expanding its database to include drugs approved for use outside of North America. These additions will be made to the Comprehensive plus International Brands.
