Lexi-Comp ON-DESKTOP Activation

Lexi-Comp ON-DESKTOP activation is done through the application for each computer that it is installed on.  When the application is installed, you have the option to click Cancel and use a 30-day demo, or enter the activation code to begin your subscription period.  Lexi-Comp's ON-DESKTOP application is a subscription based service which means the program will no longer function if there is not an active subscription.  If your subscription has expired, please visit our webstore to renew at http://webstore.lexi.com.  Or, contact our Customer Support department at 1-866-397-3433, option 2.
 
When you are ready to activate your product, please have the following information available:

  1. Email Address and Password for your account.  You will use the same account information you used when you purchase.  Alternatively, you can create an account by going to http://www.lexi.com/newaccount.
  2. The Activation code that came with your ON-DESKTOP CD.  It should be located within the CD case.  If you do not have your CD case, or you were not provided with a code, please contact our Technical Support deparmart by clicking upon the Email a Question link located at http://www.lexi.com/support.

Once you have all of the require information, open the ON-DESKTOP application and choose the appropriate activation method: Internet or Phone.

Internet Activation

  1. Click the Internet option and then Next.
  2. Enter your email address, password, and activation code.
  3. Click Next (you will need to have an active Internet connection).
  4. Upon an Activation Successful message, your ON-DESKTOP will be ready for use.  Should you receive an error message, click the Back button and verify that you have entered your account information correctly and that your Activation Code matches the code in your ON-DESKTOP CD case.  If you experience any difficulties, try entering the code withour the dashes.

Telephone Activation

If you do not have an Internet connection, you will need to use the Telephone option to activate your ON-DESKTOP subscription.  Before calling Lexi-Comp, please have the program installed on each of the computers in your office and open to the Telephone Activation screen.

  1. Contact Technical Support at 1-866-397-3433, option 3.
  2. Provide the support representative with the Activation Code and Installation ID (located on the Telephone Activation screen).
  3. The support representative will create an account for you if one does not already exist and provide you with a code to activate the application.  This will be done for each of the computers you have installed the program on.
