Pre-Authorized Purchase
Palm OS® Software Download, Installation, and Device Registration Instructions
Follow this step-by-step process for downloading, installing, and registering Lexi-Comp ON-HAND product(s) on your Palm OS® device. Use these steps only if you have received a 12-character Pre-Authorized Purchase Code.
Before you begin, you will need to have the Palm Desktop software installed on your computer. The Palm Desktop software can be downloaded from the CD that came with your device or by visiting http://www.palm.com.
Entering your Pre-Authorized Purchase Code
- Access the web page www.lexi.com/enterkeys.
- You will be directed to a page that prompts you to login
*If you have already created a login and password account at our web site please use it to Login to the site. Click 'Login' and continue to Step 3. If you have forgotten your login and/or password there is a link on the login page for us to email it to you.
**If you have never set up a login and password at our web site, please click on the "Create New Account" button. Fill in all required fields and click "submit." You will then be taken to Step 3.
Please remember to write down your login and password in a secure place as you will need this information to download your updates.
- At the Pre-Authorized Purchase page, you will be asked to read the license agreement. After doing so, please enter your Pre-Authorized Purchase Code. Click 'Use Code'
*This code should consist of 12 characters that are alpha-numeric (A through Z and 0 through 9)
**Please note that a '0' = zero and a '1' = one
***Once this code is entered under the login and password established in Step 2, it can no longer be used in this account. (If you encounter any error messages, please read and follow the on site directions.)
Download Instructions
You now have TWO options to download your software:
- Lexi-CONNECT, the automated download and update utility. This simple to use utility will streamline the download and activation process by allowing you do download and install your Lexi-Comp software with just a few clicks of the mouse. To download a copy, please visit http://connect.lexi.com and click Download Now.
- If you are not running Windows 2000 or newer, or Mac OS X 10.4.2 or newer, you can also download the software manually from the Lexi-Comp web page. Please visit http://www.lexi.com/downloads follow the on-screen prompts.
