ON-HAND Product Activation Failed
An Internet connection is require on your device to successfully activate your product code. If a product code is entered, when a connection is not present, a message will be displayed to notify the user that the activation has failed. The user is given the options to "Try Again" or "Call Support". The device can be connected through a cellular or wi-fi signal.
Follow the steps outlined below to successfully activate your product code.
iPhone, iPod touch and iPad Users:
- Enable your cellular or wi-fi Internet connection. Wifi users make sure you are connected to a wifi connection.
- Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application.
- Access the Update tab and tap Enter Product Code.
- Enter the Product Code that you received and tap the Done button once.
- The list of databases available in your subscription should now populate the Update list. Tap the Update button once if the list does not automatically populate.
Android Users:
- Enable your cellular or wi-fi Internet connection. Wifi users make sure you are connected to a wifi connection.
- Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application.
- Tap the Update button and then tap Add Product.
- Enter the Product Code that you received and tap the Done button once.
- The list of databases available in your subscription should now populate the Update list. Tap Menu > Update Selected Items once if the list does not automatically populate.
Palm Pre or Palm Pixi Users:
- Enable your cellular or wi-fi Internet connection. Wifi users make sure you are connected to a wifi connection.
- Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application.
- Tap the Update button and then tap Add Product.
- Enter the Product Code that you received and tap the Done button once.
- The list of databases available in your subscription should now populate the Update list. Tap the Update button once if the list does not automatically populate.
BlackBerry 5.0 Users:
- Enable your cellular or wi-fi Internet connection. Wifi users make sure you are connected to a wifi connection.
- Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application.
- Press the BlackBerry button and select Update.
- Select Add Product.
- Enter the Product Code that you received and select Apply once.
- The list of databases available in your subscription should now populate the Update list. Press the BlackBerry button and select Update Products once if the list does not automatically populate.
Windows Mobile 6 Users:
- Enable your cellular or wi-fi Internet connection. Wifi users make sure you are connected to a wifi connection.
- Open the Lexi-Comp ON-HAND application.
- Click the Menu button and then click Update.
- Click Add Product.
- Enter the Product Code that you received and tap the Done button once.
- The list of databases available in your subscription should now populate the Update list. Tap the Update button once if the list does not automatically populate.
*After a successful activation you may begin downloading the available databases. Once you receive the Activation Successful message you do not need to enter the code again on your device.
