The Most Complete I.V. Drug Information Available!
In partnership with King Guide Publications, Lexi-Comp presents an I.V. compatibility database providing at-a-glance compatibility and stability results via a user-friendly interface:
Detailed descriptions of identified incompatibilities
Compatibility rating symbols that easily identify evidence of incompatibility
Concise definitions of rating symbols and infusion fluid abbreviations
Ability to click on drug name within an analysis and view its monograph, which includes a complete list of compatibilities for that particular drug
THE BENEFITS:
Analyzing a profile is as easy as Select, Analyze, and Review.
Select - A patient-specific drug profile may be entered into Lexi-I.V. Compatibility by either generic or brand name. The rapid-find function permits efficient selection of drugs. The
Current Selections screen will provide a review of selected medications. Profile changes are a snap. Once the list is complete, the analysis is just a "tap" away.
Analyze - The Stability Summary screen provides a summary of drug interactions identified from the selected profile. Each drug in the profile is followed by a list of the drugs with
which it may be stable, unstable, or where conflicting reports on stability are documented.
Compatibility Rating: Indicating the level of compatibility identified.
U = Unstable - evidence of incompatibility has been reported
S = Stable - evidence of compatibility has been reported
S/U = Stable/Unstable - conflicting reports of compatibility have been reported
Review - Each of the Lexi-I.V. Compatibility monographs provides a summary statement on the combination and a compatibility rating that defines the level of
compatibility that has been identified. Enter the monograph of any drug within the analysis, which includes a complete list of compatibilities for that particular drug. (See the Fluids field for full descriptions of Infusion Fluid Abbreviations.) A "jump" list permits quick movement between monograph sections.
Please note: Lexi-Comp PDA software products operate during the subscription period only. If the product is not renewed, access will terminate.
