Beatrice B. Turkoski, RN, PhD
Dr Turkoski received her BSN from Alverno College in Wisconsin, an MS in Community Health Nursing from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee School of Nursing, and a PhD from the University of Wisconsin. She also earned an MA in bioethics from Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio. Her extensive professional nursing experience includes several years as a clinician in critical care in Wisconsin and Israel, Director of Nursing, clinician, and researcher in gerontology and chronic adult illness in Wisconsin and Ohio.
In her graduate faculty role at Kent State University College of Nursing, Dr Turkoski developed and teaches the Advanced Pharmacology course for graduate students in the Nurse Practitioner and Clinical Nurse Specialist programs. Her expertise in this area is highly regarded by both students and faculty. She also conducts continuing education programs and workshops in pharmacology and nursing practice.
Dr Turkoski is an active member and past officer in several national and international professional organizations. She has made presentations at scientific conferences in the United States, Europe, China, Korea, Canada, and Israel. Dr Turkoski is also a frequent contributor to professional journals.
