Charles F. Lacy, RPh, PharmD, FCSHP

Dr Lacy is the Vice President for Information Technologies, Professor of Pharmacy Practice, and Professor of Business Leadership at the University of Southern Nevada. In his capacity at the university, Dr. Lacy oversees the directors of the Library and Learning Resources Center and the University Information Systems. Additionally, Dr Lacy is a co-founder of the University. Currently, Dr Lacy is also the Director of International Programs for the university, which includes the College of Pharmacy, the College of Business Administration, and the College of Nursing. Previously, Dr. Lacy was the Facilitative Officer for Clinical Programs for the College of Pharmacy, where he managed the clinical curriculum, clinical faculty activities, student experiential programs, pharmacy residency programs, and the college's continuing education programs.

Prior to co-founding the Nevada College of Pharmacy, Dr Lacy was the Clinical Coordinator for the Department of Pharmacy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. With 20 years of clinical experience, he has developed a reputation as an acknowledged expert in drug information, pharmacy practice, and critical care drug therapy.

Dr Lacy received his doctorate from the University of Southern California School of Pharmacy. Presently, Dr Lacy holds teaching affiliations with the University of Southern Nevada, the University of Southern California, the University of the Pacific School of Pharmacy, Western University of Health Sciences School of Pharmacy, Hokkaido College of Pharmacy in Otaru, Japan, and the University of Alberta at Edmonton, School of Pharmacy and Health Sciences.

Dr Lacy is an active member of numerous professional associations including the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists (ASHP), the American College of Clinical Pharmacy (ACCP), the American Society of Consultant Pharmacists (ASCP), the American Association of Colleges of Pharmacy (AACP), American Pharmacists Association (APhA), and the California Society of Hospital Pharmacists (CSHP), through which he has chaired many committees and subcommittees.
